ABSTRACT
Electrical Technical Report is a web based concept that is transferred from paper to computer. This system was built to make a more efficient work for all users. It consists of three users which are manager, engineer and technician. All users need to sign up and login in order to access into the system. Technician can insert, retrieve, update and delete the data meanwhile the engineer and manager can view and manage all the reports that has been submitted. Engineer and manager can verify the data entered by technician and can either save them into pdf or print them out.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
- Technician needs to fill in the form on the paper everytime they have done with the job and we found it burdensome with the time consuming
- The data in the form is not standardize since every workers describe the job with their own words and understanding
- The data might be redundant since they are using manual method and there is no other way to check if the data is redundant or even missing
OBJECTIVE
- To digitalize the electrical technical report (from paper to computer)
- To monitor staff productivity (Job Completion)
- To prevent repetitive reporting
- To provide platform for electrical repair database
- To provide input for Equipment Reliability Report
- i) Meantime between failure (MTBF)
- ii) Meantime between reliability (MTBR)
SYSTEM FRAMEWORK
- This system consists of three users which are technician, engineer and manager.
- As for all users, they first need to register before proceeding into the login page in order to access the system.
- After succeed logging in, technician can simply fill in the form with their job details in the section provided.
- After that, they can manage the data whether they want to update or delete them.
- The status of their report will be in 'Pending' status and is waiting for being verified by the engineer.
- Engineer and manager are needed to log in into the system in order to view the reports made by the technician.
- Only then they can view the report and enter the Work Order, Equipment Criticality and External Resources.
- After that, engineer needs to verify the reports in order to the status changed into 'Verified'.
- Engineer and manager also can save the report into pdf or print it out for documentation.
